The Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is a volunteer-based, professional emergency services organisation. We are here to ensure the safety of Victorian communities by responding to emergencies and disasters across the state.

The Myrtleford Unit of VICSES was established over 45 years ago and has responded to requests for assistance throughout that time, primarily in the Myrtleford area but also further afield, including interstate. Our volunteers train most Wednesdays to maintain skills in Road crash rescue, General rescue, Storm and flood response, Search and rescue, and more. We are funded partly by government grants but also rely on community assistance.

Your generous donations directly contribute to the development of our Unit, funding our training, our equipment and our buildings, that are all required to help us serve our community with greater efficiency and care.
