Support Vulcana, Queensland’s longest-running women’s arts company, Vulcana Circus, in partnership with Brisbane Domestic Violence Service, part of Micah Projects, to bring to life Circus in a Teacup 2024. Vulcana Circus ensemble members collaborate with survivors of gender-based abuse to tell true stories of recovery, resilience, and triumph. This powerful program draws on Vulcana’s extensive experience in creating transformative works of physical performance. 

Your support is crucial in delivering this program and will allow 15 women the space and opportunity to transform through circus culminating in performances at Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

Sponsor the place of a survivor in this program and final performance. Support their tailored training by experienced and professional circus artists. Circus provides opportunities to build trust and confidence in your own body, build strength, flexibility, and dexterity, learn new skills, and explore an empowering physical language that builds self-esteem and confidence.
 
Sponsor a woman in flight $750
It takes a team to fly! Sponsor the team, equipment, and materials needed to get a woman flying on a trapeze and aerial equipment. Including rigging materials, operators, specialist aerial equipment, give generously and you can provide survivors with all they need to take to the sky.
 
Sponsor the magic $500
Bring Circus in a Teacup to life! Lights, sound, and production magic, it’s all needed to make the show happen. Through your sponsorship you’re giving a survivor a chance to step into the spotlight.
 
Sponsor a costume $300
We all need a little razzle dazzle. Sponsor the design, materials, and construction of a custom costume for a survivor to look their best for the show.
 
Sponsor a Mum $200
Your sponsorship will allow a mother to have her child cared for during rehearsals by a professional childcare worker whilst she learns to fly.
 
Sponsor some history $100
Help us document these important stories. Pay for project documentation, filming, sound, and photography. These stories need to be preserved, heard, and shared.
 
Sponsor a prop $50
Support the sourcing, construction, and maintenance of small stage props that are not equipment for the show.

Circus is hard work! Sponsor nutritious catered food and refreshments during rehearsal for a woman or her child whilst in rehearsal.
