Walk 'n' Talk For Life was born in 2016 where our founder Shannon Nevin instigated the inaugural Walk 'n' Talk For Life in Manly, NSW 2095 where over 250 local community participants joined in a walk from Queenscliff to Shelly Beach and back finishing with ‘free’ BBQ.
All participants proudly wore their ‘free’ Yellow Hearted Tee Shirts and Caps in a show of support for each other and walked and talked in friendship.
Since inception there have been over 30 chapters activated not only in Sydney & Brisbane but in particular rural New South Wales.
Walk 'n' Talk For Life creates regular walking events in any community that allow non-judgmental spaces for open conversations and tangible support through interaction and sharing and physical exercise to get some dopamine flowing.
Our walks can be started anywhere. We don't have a specific target audience... as anyone, at any point in life, can find themselves needing extra support and community assistance.
