Did you know that Ethiopia is one of the world's poorest countries. It is also Africa's oldest independent country, is the second largest in terms of population, and it has never been colonised.

The Ychalal Foundation is a non-for-profit organisation established in 2013 by Addis Tebebu, to enhance the lives of those affected by poverty. Poverty stretches beyond financial measures, which means, the way in which people are living is largely affected.

The Ychalal Foundation hopes that with the generous donations of many, we are able to assist families and individuals who desperately need food supplies, housing and general assistance, so that together, we can build homes, communities and hope.
