The Wedderburn SES Unit is a volunteer-run service that strengthens the safety and resilience of our community. Our members respond to storms, floods and other natural disasters, providing on-the-ground support when people need it most. As part of the broader Victorian State Emergency Service network, we assist across both urban and rural areas in Wedderburn and the surrounding region.

Our volunteers attend emergency callouts, undertake rescue operations and support recovery efforts. They train regularly to ensure they have the skills to act quickly and confidently in challenging conditions. Outside emergency work, the unit also plays an important role in community education, helping residents understand risks and prepare for severe weather.

Donations allow us to keep this work going. Community contributions fund training, protective gear, updated equipment and the resources that keep our volunteers safe and effective. Every gift strengthens our local capacity to respond to crises and helps protect the people who live, work and travel through our region.

By supporting the Wedderburn SES Unit, you are investing in a safer, more resilient community. Your generosity enables our volunteers to continue turning up, day or night, to help others through their toughest moments.
