Hobart Churches Welcoming Refugees  
  
Volunteers from 4 Anglican churches across Hobart have come together to form 2 Community Supporter Groups under the CRISP program (more information here). These groups will welcome and support one refugee family each during their first 12 months in Australia. Funds raised will go towards initial settlement costs including furnishing a house, bond payment, income for the first few weeks, possible rental subsidy and assistance with food, clothing, school supplies and other needs as they arise.

We believe in the dignity and worth of all people, regardless of faith, ethnicity, or cultural background. We are committed to acts of service, justice, and compassion for these vulnerable people. By partnering with us financially, you are contributing to making an immediate and lasting difference in the lives of these families. 

Please note any excess funds received will go to other families in need.
