About this cause
The face of motorsport is changing. Women are now stepping forward to take up the challenge.

In the past, the AWMN has successfully run formal mentoring programs for its members. As a direct result, ie popular demand, we have now stepped up to the next level - hands-on mentoring. The AWMN are opening new opportunities for women never available before.

The AWMN successfully held two Speedway training days in 2004, one in NSW, the other in Queensland. This year, September 2005, was the inaugural 'Girl's Torque Drag Racing & Burnout Training Day' at Warwick Dragway in Queensland.

'GIRL'S TORQUE' was an overwhelming success, and will now become an annual event at Warwick Dragway. The AWMN is being contacted on a regular basis for information on holding training days in other states, not only for drag racing, but circuit racing, drifting etc.

The AWMN is a non-profit incorporated association run by (unpaid) volunteers. Funds are essential to further develop motorsport training days for women of all ages.
