Welfare Rights Centre has been fighting for a fairer social security system for over 40 years.
We provide free legal information, advice and representation to thousands of vulnerable NSW residents each year who have been adversely affected by Centrelink decisions, including people experiencing family violence or abuse, First Nations people, new migrants, and regional residents affected by disasters such as floods. We do this despite the lack of secure and significant government funding and in the face of overwhelming demand.
If you are in a position to give, please donate generously to ensure we can continue our vital work to help all people have the income support they need to live with dignity. We’d be very grateful if you would consider becoming a monthly donor to help sustain our work.
All donations over $2 or more are eligible for a tax deduction.

Welfare Rights Centre acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional owners of the land. We recognise their continued custodianship of the land, waters, and seas in which we live and work. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present, and celebrate their unique cultural knowledge.
