About this cause
In 2014, the G20 rolls into Brisbane, putting the city and the state at the forefront of the world's attention.

Queensland is world class at many things, but there is one part of its dark underbelly that the government does not want to world to know - they are breaking their commitment to the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Despite 22 years of lobbying and action, the government is yet to implement the bipartisan agreement to keep 17 year olds out of adult prisons. The G20 provides an unprecedented opportunity to show this failing to the world.

YANQ, the peak body for the youth sector and a voice for young people in Queensland, wants to raise $25,000 to put a billboard at the airport in 2014, shaming the government on their actions.

Please help us achieve this goal.
