Young Voices of Melbourne (YVM) was established in 1990 to provide outstanding music education and choral performance opportunities for young singers. We now have a proud history of 33 years of concerts, 10 Cd recordings, 11 international tours to Europe, North America, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, Samoa and New Zealand, and 24 tours to all states and territories of Australia. We currently work with around 230 young singers each week, and have provided life changing opportunities for thousands of young singers since 1990.

In the past year our choirs have gone from strength to strength, running successful rehearsal camps, sell out concerts and a tour to North Queensland. Exaudi will soon depart for a tour to the Verona Garda International Choral Festival and the 58th Barcelona International Choral Festival. Our Early Childhood Sessions, Very Young Voices of Melbourne continue to grow with an extra session added this year. Numbers in our choirs are slowly but surely returning to pre-pandemic levels. We are
committed to ensuring our singers continue to receive an exceptional music education and have fun whilst doing it!

Our recent sell out Winter Concert was a celebration of music and the joy that singing together brings.

Next year, we are looking forward to beginning a new relationship with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra which will see us collaborating in three concerts, and we hope to be able to offer our singers the excitement of an overseas tour.
