I'm raising money for DVCS who have had a huge impact on me with support over the years  

From Jan 1st 2025 I decided to take on a mammoth task. I will run every single suburban street in Canberra, ACT. 

‘Every street matters’ has a double meaning for me. I plan on using this platform and challenge to raise awareness and support for local domestic/family violence, specifically around the issue of criminalising coercive control in the ACT. In fact 1 in 4 women will experience SA or DV from the age of 15. And 1 in 3 men admit to abusing a partner or family member at some stage in their life. 

As at July 2026 coercive control is still NOT criminalised in the ACT. 

For my own mental health journey it also matters that I do this. I’m am a multiple survivor of domestic/family violence and sexual assault.  I heal a little more for every street I complete. I love the person that running makes me.
