Light Up the Night for Brainchild

We are a group of Year 7 parents who are organising Light Up the Night, a community fundraising event to be held on 1st August 2026 at the Brisbane Sailing Squadron in Bulimba.

This cause is particularly close to our hearts. Earlier this year, our community experienced the heartbreaking loss of one of our fellow students to a brain tumour. In response, a group of parents came together to honour his memory and support other families facing similar challenges.

All funds raised will support Brainchild Foundation, an incredible charity that provides practical, emotional and financial support to children and families affected by brain and spinal cord tumours. The difference Brainchild makes to families during some of the most difficult times of their lives is truly extraordinary.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help Brainchild continue their important work and reach more families who need support.

Any donation made through this page will be transferred directly to Brainchild's charity account.
