Dying to Know Day 2026
The Secret I'm Glad I Shared
Join Kindlewood for an evening of meaningful conversation, creativity and community as we mark Dying to Know Day 2026.
This year's theme, The Secret I'm Glad I Shared, invites us to explore the conversations that are often the hardest to have, yet can bring the greatest comfort, connection and peace when they are shared.
Throughout the evening you'll be introduced to After Now, Kindlewood's developing programme designed to help individuals and families prepare for the continuity of life through practical planning and meaningful conversations. You'll also hear from a panel of local professionals as they discuss end of life choices, including death doula care, body donation to medical science and other after death options.
The evening concludes with a creative legacy activity facilitated by Laura from AQUAkre-artz, providing an opportunity to reflect on the stories, wishes and memories that matter most.
Whether you're planning ahead, supporting someone you love, or simply curious to learn more, you'll leave feeling more informed, more connected and more confident to have the conversations that matter.
Your ticket includes refreshments and light catering.
Together, let's make talking about life's final chapter a little easier.
Any proceeds from this event will support Kindlewood's work to build compassionate communities and improve end of life awareness and support across Perth's northern suburbs.
