Golden Rainbow is an exciting new initiative dedicated to fostering meaningful community connections, building intergenerational bonds, and enhancing social wellbeing for older LGBTQIA+ community members, elders, and allies across the Greater Geelong region. Whether you are looking to make new friends, share stories, find local peer support, or simply discover ways to get involved in local programs, this launch event offers a warm, welcoming, and inclusive space for everyone.
Hosted at the Geelong West Neighbourhood House, the afternoon will feature a delightful spread of complimentary afternoon tea, light refreshments, and an open mixer where you can mingle and connect with peers across all generations. Learn more about upcoming social catch-ups, volunteer opportunities, and community resources designed to ensure our older LGBTQIA+ community feels valued, visible, and supported.
Entry is completely free, though registrations are essential to help us cater appropriately. Everyone is welcome—bring a friend, share in the celebrations, and help us lay the foundation for a stronger, more connected community!

Registration & Entry: Admission is complimentary, but registration via GiveNow is required for catering and capacity purposes. Please present your digital or printed ticket upon arrival.
Inclusivity & Safety: Geelong Rainbow Inc. is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all attendees. Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
Catering & Dietary Requirements: Afternoon tea will be provided. While we endeavor to cater to common dietary preferences noted during registration, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Accessibility & Support: The venue features step-free access, wheelchair/walker accessibility, accessible restrooms, and hearing loop capabilities. Support persons and carers are welcome.
