Advancing arts and culture through the development of new artist in residence centres in Vicotria.

InPlace is currently delivering the ambitious new Garambi Baan/Laughing Waters Residency Centre, in partnership with the Wurundjeri Woi wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation, Nillumbik Shire Council, Parks Victoria and founding partner, Creative Victoria.

The Garambi Baan/Laughing Waters Residency Centre sees the launch of a critical new multi-purpose residency space, housed in two historic buildings within a conservation reserve beside the Birrarung (Yarra River), on the outskirts of Melbourne. It will be home to a responsive, multi-streamed program including live-in residencies for independent artists/groups of all disciplines and a residency stream for partnering organisations.
