NOFF is a not-for-profit organisation driven by volunteers. Our committee members represent a wide range of professional backgrounds across the media, marketing, science, business and the arts. United by a deep belief that our communities and natural environments should not be exploited or harmed, our objective is to end the destructive practices of the multi-national Atlantic salmon industry in Tasmania's waterways.

NOFF's ongoing campaigns have engendered widespread public support, stripping the industry of its social licence despite its grip on the government and regulators.

Our goal is to end salmon feedlots in our vulnerable, shallow coastal waters and rivers. A sustainable transition to land-based production must be overseen by independent regulation and guided by independent science and community values.
