About

Yin is a very passive approach to yoga where you perform the majority of the poses seated on the floor or laying down. The poses are held for longer periods of time, 3 – 5 minutes, and you are supported by props, allowing gravity to affect the body over time.

Yin Yoga offers deeper access to the body targeting our connective tissues, fascia and ligaments with the aim of lubricating and protecting our joints.

Suitable for all ages and abilities. 

What to bring: A yoga mat, blocks and bolster (if you have these – some are supplied), water bottle
What to wear: Anything that you can comfortably move in (no jeans/fly zippers)

Run by senior Yoga teacher, Marnie this begins on Tuesday 5 May 2026 and runs for 6 weeks. Class dates include:

  • Tuesday 5 May    1pm - 2pm
  • Tuesday 12 May  1pm - 2pm
  • Tuesday 19 May  1pm - 2pm
  • Tuesday 26 May  1pm - 2pm
  • Tuesday 2 June    1pm - 2pm
